Leadership and Supervision:

  • Serve as a mentor and supervisor by providing clinical coaching to Occupational Therapists, including support during client sessions and regular touchpoint meetings.
  • Train and support Occupational Therapists in conducting evaluations, identifying and developing client acquisition goals, and completing daily treatment notes and documentation.
  • Ensure OTs establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and families through parent education, home programs, and support as needed.

Program Development:


  • Conduct engaging trainings and presentations to promote awareness and support program initiatives.
  • Uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in all activities.

Consultation:


  • Facilitate workshops for families and schools, providing ongoing support and training.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including Speech Therapists, Mental Health Providers, and more—to implement best practice interventions tailored for children with autism.

Treatment:

  • Provide coverage therapy sessions and maintain a small caseload to ensure best practice standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) focused on the unique needs of each child.
  • Utilize evidence-based methods to design and implement effective therapy programs.
  • Monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Active state licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or related disorders.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Sensory Processing Disorders preferred.
