Responsibilities of the BCBA at KGH:
For Experienced BCBAs:

  • Design and implement advanced ABA treatment programs for children, teens, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and provide expert guidance to improve client outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of RBTs, providing leadership and support in their professional growth.
  • Develop family support strategies based on individualized clinical recommendations.
  • Analyze client progress and refine treatment protocols to ensure continued success.

For New BCBAs:

  • Learn and implement ABA treatment programs under the guidance of experienced Senior BCBAs.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments with support from your mentor.
  • Receive mentorship in supervising and providing feedback to RBTs.
  • Participate in the development of family support strategies and gain experience in client progress evaluations.
  • Benefit from structured leadership coaching to prepare you for future management roles.
Requirements for the BCBA Position:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing (or within 6 months of obtaining for new BCBAs).
  • Completion of 8 hours of supervisor training (or pending completion).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive clinical environment, with a strong foundation in ABA principles.

We are seeking a team-oriented and results-driven Talent and HR Manager to lead the recruitment of Behavior Technicians (BT) and manage the full recruitment life cycle for assigned positions. You’ll also oversee performance management, employee relations, and compliance, shaping a positive, high-performing workforce. As a trusted partner, you’ll report directly to the Senior HR Manager and have a significant impact on the organization’s success. This is a hybrid position with the potential for 2 days remote each week.  Based upon business needs, flexibility on which days are remote and for additional on-site days may be needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Supervise and mentor the recruitment team for Behavior Technicians (BT), while executing the full recruitment life cycle for assigned positions, from job requisitions to onboarding.
  • Employee Relations & Performance: Provide guidance on employee relations and performance management, supporting supervisors in handling complex situations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain updated policies and procedures.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to boost employee satisfaction, recognition, and retention across the organization.
  • Data & Insights: Utilize data to track hiring trends, retention, and employee relations, providing insights to leadership.
  • Learning & Development: Partner with leadership to develop career growth and succession planning programs.
Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize and delegate.
  • Acts with integrity, professionalism, and maintains confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with proficiency in HRIS systems and quick adaptability to new technologies.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Healthcare or health services experience preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
