What Will You Do at KGH?
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Human Resource Manager will lead the Human Resources department to ensure all HR processes, policies and practices support the objectives and needs of the organization. The HR Manager will partner with the management team to support the organization’s human resource strategy. This position will be responsible to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of an HR Generalist.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
Partner with the management team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy. This includes onboarding and training processes, workforce planning, succession planning and employee development.
Facilitate the recruiting process for all positions. Partner with outside recruitment resources as required.
Lead and support overall employee engagement through programs and events focused on recognition, retention, and employee satisfaction. Manage employee communications for HR related topics.
Collaborate with the management team to create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Provide support and consultation to supervisors and employees when complex and sensitive questions and issues arise.
Partner with supervisors to ensure employee performance meets expectations. Coach and advise supervisors when support for corrective action is needed.
Research and propose competitive compensation and benefit programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Coordinate all employee benefit processes internal and external to the organization. Partner with third party support in communications, compliance, and process execution.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Reviews policies, practices, processes, and employee handbook to maintain compliance.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources. Identifies opportunities to implement improvements and changes to build the effectiveness of the HR function.
Oversee the daily workflow of the department to ensure the HR function meets the needs of the organization. This includes onboarding, HRIS data maintenance, annual reporting, employee record keeping, annual reviews, pay changes, workers compensation, leaves of absence, unemployment claims, offboarding, and any additional requirements.

What Does KGH Need from You?
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
A minimum of five years of human resource experience required.
A minimum of three years of HR management experience required.
Experience supporting organizations that provide Health Services is preferred.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
