What Will You Do at KGH?
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Recruiting Specialist's main responsibility is overseeing the day-to-day operations of KGH's recruitment team. The Recruiting Specialist will partner with hiring managers to support the organization’s recruitment needs.

Essential functions:
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of KGH’s recruitment

  • Provides guidance and direction to HR staff involved in recruitment process

  • Executes full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, and hiring

  • Creates and maintains a community presence and determines ways to increase engagement with potential candidates

  • Attends career fairs and other community outreach events

  • Develops and maintains partnerships with potential candidate pipelines

  • Develops new strategies and processes to attract potential candidates

  • Stays informed of new strategies and techniques to capture interest in a challenging employment market

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine hiring needs


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of recruitment methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, various HRIS and ATS (Paycor experience a plus!)
  • Ability to be creative and think outside the box

Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • Experience leading others
