Position Summary
The Senior BCBA at KGH plays a pivotal role in delivering best practice behavior therapy services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This position is not only focused on assessment and intervention but also on providing leadership and supervision to fellow BCBAs and Behavior Technicians. The Senior BCBA will ensure effective service delivery in compliance with both regulatory board standards and KGH’s high standards of care.

Essential Functions:

As a Senior BCBA, you will:

  • Train and support new BCBAs and Behavior Consultants during onboarding.
  • Directly supervise and evaluate BCBAs and Behavior Consultants, including performance measures and reviews.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and positive relationships between BCBAs and their clients and families.
  • Conduct routine fidelity checks and monitor billable results against targets.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Support the scheduling process to enhance clinical operations and provide timely recommendations.
  • Oversee the onboarding and development of Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Develop and deliver workshops for staff and clients.
  • Maintain data measurement, collection, and analysis systems for clients.
  • Actively engage in the development of the ABA department’s resources and programs.
Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Active BCBA certification in good standing.
  • Advanced understanding of ABA principles and evidence-based strategies.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working directly with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role, managing and coaching others.
  • Successful completion of 8 hours of supervisor training and passing the BACB supervisor competency module.
  • Certificate in Professional Crisis Management (PCM).

  • Local travel may be required, with exposure to various weather conditions.

Physical Demands


  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Required agility to manage physically aggressive behavior when necessary.
